Yo dudes - my name is Cyril and I am a Volkswagen Split Screen (Type 1) SO42 Camper Van, although most people just call me a ‘splitty’. I was born in 1966, the year England last one the world cup, although unfortunately I am German and come from Munich! When I was born I was adopted by somebody in the USA and I went to live in Iowa, where I spent nearly 40 years taking people around North America on holiday, before then coming to live in Liverpool (via Hertfordshire).

You will probably recognise me from all those t-shirts and hoodies the cool ones are wearing at the moment, although most people won’t appreciate that I am a special Westphalia built camper and so very rare indeed.

Loads of new age hippie youngsters (and even some aging ones) are getting taken to and from the church in me these days, because I am so quirky and fun. I have a pop top roof, safari windows to the front and back, a CB radio to keep in touch with the guests and a television, so you don’t need to miss any of your favourite programmes on the way to the ceremony! I have a lovely table which you can drink your champagne from and even a comfy bed - just in case you can’t wait!

Let me introduce myself - my name is Reggie Rolls and I am a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Mark 1. I was born at the Crewe/Derby Factory on 27th May 1957 and I was first supplied on 19th June 1957 to a Mr. Louis Speelman by the the Mayfair Rolls Royce dealer Jack Barclay. I lived in the United Kingdom until 1965 when I went to live in Texas in the United States of America, where I remained until 2011, at which point I was imported back to the United Kingdom to live in Liverpool.

I am a beautiful two tone green colour and I have luscious, deep green leather seats which are just perfect as a background for showing off the bride’s dress in photographs. I ooze character, even if I say so myself and am covered in walnut. I even have tables for the bride and groom to drink their champagne off. I have loads of leg room. As you can see, I dress up well for weddings and have lovely colour co-ordinated ribbons and flowers.

I am really a one off and you will struggle in Merseyside to find a Rolls Royce with as much character and charm as me! Take a look at my photographs. I am sure you will agree with me.

Beep Beep - my name is Pob and I am a 1300 Volkswagen Beetle, although some people just call me the Lurrrrve Bug! I was adopted on 28th March 1969 by Mr. Makowiecki in Essex, who paid the princely sum of 795 pounds 5 shillings and 9 pence for me (including 12 months tax for 25 pounds and seat belts fitted as extras for 4 pounds 12 shillings and sixpence)! I was supplied by Abridge Engineering Co. Ltd of Essex, who still exist as a company today!

I have a strong heart (engine) which is original and has travelled, with some tinkering, over 180,000 miles.

I am a great car to get the bridegroom and best man in particular to the church, although loads of brides love to cuddle up inside me too. I look really grown up when I am covered in my ribbons and flowers and there is even space on the roof for the presents! I am the same colour as my cousin Cyril and we go so well together outside the church. People are always stopping us to take photographs.
